Poux has had an interesting career so far on the international stage. Made his debut for Les Bleus in 2001 in a Test against Fiji, but has made only 19 more appearances in the six years since. Being a regular at Top 14 giants Toulouse does not seem to have furthered his cause, although he came back into the international fray last year and earned a place in France’s World Cup squad. A Heineken Cup winner twice with Toulouse, the former Narbonne prop has big-game experience, but with the likes of Marconnet and De Villiers still around, he may have to wait.
