The Leinster hooker won his place back in the Ireland squad after impressing this season with his all-round game, especially his lineout throwing. An all-action player in the ilk of Keith Wood, he is challenging Rory Best and Jerry Flannery to be Ireland's number one hooker. Jackman played in every game during the 2008 RBS 6 Nations, starting against France and Scotland.
