Now with Edinburgh following the collapse of the Border Reivers, the prop is a key member of the Scotland team and played in 15 consecutive matches between the RBS 6 Nations match against France in 2006 and the equivalent fixture in 2007. Kerr made his first full start for Scotland on the 2003 summer tour of South Africa, before joining the squad for the Rugby World Cup in Australia. Has represented Scotland at under-18, under-19 and under-21 levels and competed in the FIRA World Junior Championships, when it was held in Italy in 1996.
