Try-machine Sackey was one of England's 2007 World Cup revelations, adapting comfortably to international rugby's high-octane environment and claiming critical tries when England fought for their lives in pool stage victories over Samoa and Tonga. He scored four tries in total during the tournament, all during the group stage, and continued this hot streak in the RBS 6 Nations with three more. The Wasps wing has honed his sprinting skills by working with Margot Wells, wife of 1980 Olympic 100m champion Allan. He first toured with the senior England squad in 2001 but had to wait until the autumn of 2006 to make his debut against New Zealand, scoring his first try a week later against Argentina.
