Coventry-born Geraghty played for Ireland at Under-16 level, but has represented England at every subsequent age group, including Under-21 level, and made a sensational debut against France in 2007. He replaced Toby Flood at fly-half in the second half and produced a mesmerising break to set up England's match-clinching score. He again came on as a substitute the following week against Wales but has not appeared in the RBS 6 Nations since. He missed out on a 2007 World Cup spot but was recalled to the senior England squad during last year's 6 Nations. However, a knee injury prevented him playing in the tournament.
