Roberts and co. lead Blues to historic win

Wales trio Jamie Roberts, Leigh Halfpenny and Bradley Davies all crossed as Cardiff Blues became the first Welsh side to win a European trophy - downing Toulon 28-21 in the Amlin Challenge Cup final.
The French side had led 13-16 at the interval thanks largely to a Sonny Bill Williams score but the Welsh internationals all crossed in the second half to seal a momentous win.

England manager Martin Johnson was dealt a worrying blow for his summer tour squad when fly-half Jonny Wilkinson – in Toulon colours – was withdrawn with an injury.

But that will be the last thing on the minds of the Blues side as they survived a late French revival - thanks largely to Thomas Sourice's try – to emerge victorious in front of a partisan Stade Velodrome crowd.
