Edinburgh coach Rob Moffat has secured four more players for their Magners League challenge next term.
Scotland A hooker Andrew Kelly, who has made 126 appearances for the Gunners, has penned a new two-year deal while flanker/lock Fraser McKenzie has extended his stay by a year.
There are also two new faces with back James King signing for 12 months after impressing following his spell under Craig Chalmers at Melrose.
Edinburgh Academicals back-row Dave Denton, 20, has signed for two years after a productive spell with the Scottish Hydro Premier One club since graduating at the Scottish Rugby National Academy.
And Moffat is thrilled to have King and Denton on board for next term.
“We are looking at James to play midfield, most probably at 12,” he said. “He is a ball-player and we’ve signed him because of the quality of his performances in the club game. He’s the sort of player we want in midfield a ball player.
“Dave is a big, physical, ball-carrying forward. He will provide the physical presence that’s such a vital ingredient to back-row play.”
