Ireland international Jonathan Sexton kicked 11 points as Leinster saw off Munster in a gritty encounter to book themselves a place in the Magners League final.
Michael Cheika’s troops ran out 16-6 winners against the defending champions thanks to Sexton, returning from an injured jaw, and the only try of the game from Rob Kearney.
It was all square at half-time with Sexton and fellow Ireland international Ronan O’Gara exchanging one penalty each.
However Leinster turned the screw after the break and 13 points in the space of 15 minutes after an O’Gara drop goal proved the difference as they set up a final clash with the Ospreys.
Kearney started Munster’s downfall barging his way over in the 44th minute with Sexton converting and slotting two further penalties to seal the win at the RDS.
