Gray looks to end momentous season on a high

Glasgow Warriors second-row Richie Gray has vowed to round off a memorable season with a Magners League victory over the Scarlets on Friday night.

The 6ft 10in lock has not only established himself as a regular in the Warriors pack this season but has also arrived on the international scene, winning three Scotland caps.

The Warriors have already secured their place in the end of season semi-finals and Gray admits he wishes the season didn’t have to come to an end.

“It’s not usually the case that players are screaming out for more games at this stage of the season,” said the 20-year-old.

“But everyone is determined to extend this season as far as we can and that can only be helped by gaining home advantage in the play-offs.”

Gray replaces Tim Barker in the side, while flanker John Barclay makes way for Calum Forrester.
