Edinburgh back John Houston has vowed to turn Scotland A caps into full international honours after putting pen to paper on new deal at Murrayfield.
The 27-year-old joins centre Ben Cairns and prop Geoff Cross in confirming new deals with head coach Rob Moffat before the final round of the Magners League regular season.
Houston – who won the IRB Nations Cup with Scotland A last season – has signed a four-year contract and has promised to make the international step up before then.
“I am really enjoying my time at Edinburgh and I feel as if I have improved every season I have been at the club and I am delighted to be saying,” said Houston.
“I love playing for Edinburgh – it is my goal to start every week and to win silverware for both club and country.”
