England and Lions prop Phil Vickery will make his first start since major neck surgery in Wasps' Amlin Cup semi-final clash with Cardiff Blues.
The 34-year-old, who has recovered from the fourth major operation of his career, will replace Ben Broster in the pack.
Fly-half Danny Cipriani has been replaced by Dave Walder with Samoan winger David Lemi returning from a calf strain in place of Tom Varndell.
Steve Kefu is coach Tony Hanks’ fourth change to the side that lost to Bath with Ben Jacobs coming into the midfield.
“We have a very proud record in this competition, and we’re extremely focused on maintaining that presence in Europe,” said Hanks.
“Winning trophies is what drives this group intensely. It’s something that, as a club, we’ve done very well over the last decade – but it’s not something we take for granted and this group of players is determined to establish its own legacy.”
