Wales captain Ryan Jones insists it's about time Ospreys showed the rest of Europe what they are made of when they face Biarritz in the Heineken Cup quarter-final.
The Ospreys have lost out at the last eight stage in the previous two years and were hammered 43-9 by Munster in last year’s competition.
And with a team packed with star playes from the RBS 6 Nations, Jones says it is about time they turn their potential into results.
“You certainly learn from your experiences, but last year is going to have no effect on what happens this year,” said Jones.
“There are guys who were involved in that game and who will certainly not want to replicate the type of emotions we felt after it. But we have to just go out and play.
“We will try to quieten the crowd, get some good possession early on and mount some pressure from there.
“This will be just about getting a result, by hook or by crook.”
