And with the Dragons downing their big spending Welsh rivals Ospreys 28-20 last time out Glasgow boss Sean Lineen is under no illusions about the size of the task facing his side.
"We enjoy playing against the Dragons and there is a healthy rivalry between the two teams," said Lineen.
"They are the form team in the league at the moment. They're winning games and play with a real energy all over the park.
"It's always a difficult game for us and they will pose a great test.
"We have to earn the right to be in the top four. That only comes with consistency of performance and a lot of hard work."
The two teams have already met three times this season. The Dragons won twice at Rodney Parade in the Magners League and European Cup but the Warriors were victorious 29-25 at Firhill Stadium in the European Cup on 15 January.
