Ireland centre Gordon D'Arcy attempts to escape the clutches of France full-back Clement Poitrenaud
Gordon D'Arcy has handed Ireland a fitness boost ahead of their final RBS 6 Nations match of the 2010 championship after the Leinster star trained fully on Thursday.
D'Arcy suffered deep bruising above the left knee in the 27-12 win over Wales and a final decision on his fitness will be made on Friday.
But after a full session with his teammates on Thursday, D’Arcy is expected to be given the green light to line up alongside Brian O'Driscoll as the Leinster pair chase their fifth Triple Crown against Scotland in Saturday’s 's Croke Park farewell.
“A final decision on his availability and fitness for the game will be made following the final run out in Croke Park,” said an IRFU spokesman.
