Cusiter backs Scotland to earn win at long last

Past form and performances in this season's RBS 6 Nations will count for nothing when Scotland goes head-to-head with England at Murrayfield, according to skipper Chris Cusiter.
Scotland have been in disastrous form of late, losing to France in their opening Six Nations fixture, suffering a heartbreaking last-gasp loss against Wales in Cardiff and then experiencing a late humiliation in Italy last time out.

Pressure is certainly building on former England boss Andy Robinson, now at the Scottish helm but as Martin Johnson’s men roll into town – Cusiter is not worried.

"There is definitely an element of frustration about how we performed in Italy and we are desperate to make amends," added Cusiter.

"But we have been focused on England this week, preparing ourselves for what we are going to face on Saturday.

"They vary the game pretty well and, despite the criticism they have been coming under, they are a very strong team and they could easily be on three wins out of three.

"As it is, they have two, but they are obviously desperate to come here and get the third."
