Lewis Moody and Wales' Jamie Roberts after England's 30-17 victory
Mad-dog Moody: Follow my lead
10 February 2010, 10:27 am
By Sportsbeat
England flanker Lewis Moody has called on his team-mates to take a leaf out of his book in this weekend's RBS 6 Nations clash with Italy.
Moody was one of the only shining lights in England’s dismal autumn and the Leicester Tigers star – known as Mad Dog – was at his combative best again in the 30-17 win over Wales last weekend.

But with the tough test of an Italy side on home turf next on the agenda the 31-year-old believes England will need to be ready for a scrap in the Stadio Flaminio.

"In terms of physicality Italy are right up there as one of the best teams in the world. That is what their game is about," Moody said.

"Like Scotland, when they are at home they have an ability to pick themselves up by 50 per cent.

"It is going to take every bit of our dog, heart and enthusiasm to get a result in Rome."
