Scotland coach Andy Robinson has added 12 more players to his Scotland squad ahead of Saturday's RBS 6 Nations clash with Wales.
National team doctor James Robson is monitoring the progress of John Beattie, Kelly Brown, Thom Evans, Nathan Hines and Graeme Morrison – who all picked up knocks in the 18-9 home defeat to France.
Robinson has brought Edinburgh’s Mike Blair, Ben Cairns, Nick De Luca and Jim Hamilton into squad, while Dougie Hall, Ruaridh Jackson and Dan Parks of Glasgow are also called-up.
Scotland have also decided to invite back Northampton Saints’ Scott Gray and Euan Murray – who abstained from Sunday’s game on religious grounds – Ulster’s Simon Danielli, Toulon’s Rory Lamont and Nikki Walker of Ospreys.
Former England boss Robinson is expected to make changes to his side following the disappointing manner of their opening round defeat when he announces his team on Tuesday to travel to the Millennium Stadium.
Wales also suffered defeat, going down 30-17 to England at Twickenham, but hold the mental advantage after beating Scotland 26-13 at Murrayfield last year.
