Issued by Simon Mills
England centre Riki Flutey (CA Brive) sustained a knock to his right thigh in the course of training yesterday.

Following assessment of the injury by the England medical staff this morning, it has been decided that he would not recover sufficiently to take part in the RBS 6 Nations international against Wales at Twickenham Stadium tomorrow.

He is replaced in the starting line-up by Toby Flood (Leicester Tigers) with Shontayne Hape (Bath Rugby) added to the replacements.

Flood, who missed this season's Investec Challenge Series through injury, will be winning his 27th cap.
