The Wales team announcement ahead of the RBS 6 Nations 2010 opener against England at Twickenham this Saturday (6 February, KO 5.00pm) will take the form of a written press release to be issued today, Wednesday 3 February, at approximately 1.00pm.

The press release will include relevant quotes from Wales head coach Warren Gatland.
A video interview relating to the team announcement with assistant coach (attack) Rob Howley will also be availble for free use by broadcast outlets from 1pm and posted on the official WRU website www.wru.co.uk alongside a separate film containing footage of a recent Wales team training session - to arrange distribution of any part of this footage in your preferred format please email srimmer@wru.co.uk at your earliest convenience and you will recieve further details by return.
The team announcement press release will be followed by a press conference at the below time and venue - please note this conference is in addition to media access notified on the published media schedule.

All members of the media are invited to attend a press conference at the above time and venue to discuss team selection for Wales RBS 6 Nations clash with England at Twickenham on Saturday 6th February and obtain preview material for the match.

The press conference will take the form of a top table interview with head coach Warren Gatland followed by the normal segregated interviews in media groups. Please note the only non-rights holding broadcast access to the head coach will be at the top table part of the press conference. Individual players will be allocated to talk in three separate media groups to accommodate broadcast outlets, national daily newspapers and Welsh national and regional newspapers. Specific requests for interviews are accepted.
