Hard yards still needed to fill Parks' boots
Lineen admits still work to do for Jackson

By Sportsbeat
Glasgow coach Shaun Lineen admitted fly-half Ruaridh Jackson still has plenty to learn if he's to fill the boots of the departing Dan Parks after defeating Newport-Gwent Dragons 29-25 in the Heineken Cup.
The 21-year-old kicked 11 points before being replaced by Cardiff Blues-bound Parks in the 51st minute as Glasgow survived a Welsh fightback at Firhill.

But with Jackson set to keep hold of the No. 10 shirt during the RBS 6 Nations, Lineen admits he needs to step up to the plate.

"Considering Ruaridh had only had that minute of rugby before he was injured in the first game of the season he did OK," said Lineen.

"He was rusty but he was trying things. I changed the half backs sooner than I had intended. Dan Parks and scrum-half Mark McMillan immediately brought control.

"That is our side that will play during the Six Nations, and they now have the winning habit.

"We also have tonight's (Friday's) win up our sleeves ahead of the Dragons' return in April."
