Wing Jim Thompson has vowed to lay down an early RBS 6 Nations marker when Edinburgh welcome Stade Francais to Murrayfield for their final Heineken Cup group match.
The Gunners saw their hopes of reaching the knockout stages for the first time since 2004 end on Friday night when they slumped 21-13 to Ulster.
However Thompson believes this weekend's clash against Stade Francais will be an ideal warm up for those going to be involved in Scotland's opening Six Nations clash with France.
"We definitely want to finish with a good win over Stade Francais," said Scotland A international Thompson.
"It is important in terms of what is coming up and next season's seeding. We want to finish as high up the group as possible and we also want to produce a good performances for our supporters."
