Head coach Michael Cheika insists he won't be using the weather as an excuse as Leinster begin preparing for their Heineken Cup clash with Brive early.
The Irish province haven't played since beating Ulster 15-3 on Boxing Day as their scheduled Magners League clashes with Connacht and Glasgow fell to the freezing weather.
Leinster will now be hoping to inflict a fifth straight Heineken Cup defeat to Brive next Saturday - but Cheika admitted he won’t be blaming a lack of matches if they don’t.
“Obviously we are disappointed that games are getting called off but there is nothing you can do about the weather,” said Cheika.
“We would have liked to have played against Glasgow before playing Brive without a doubt but we will take the cards we have been dealt and we will get the best preparation possible under way ahead of that match.”
