Bradley dreaming of Euro progress
19 December 2009, 2:22 pm
By Sportsbeat
Connacht boss Michael Bradley is already dreaming of the knockout stages of the Amlin Cup after seeing his side win 19-7 against Guinness Premiership club Worcester.
Ireland boss Declan Kidney was in the 2,300 crowd as Connacht produced a performance to remember, with the likes of Gavin Duffy pressing their international claims.

“We said last week that if we could get anything out of the game it would make this week easier and we did that,” said Bradley.

“It was going to be difficult because the pressure switches to us, being the home game. The back line they had out there was dangerous and we had the team set up to move the ball on a wide-wide pattern and we caught ourselves.

“In the second half, we played more emphasis on closer targets and we were more competitive. That seemed to be the format for the winning of the game.”
