Wales centre RBS 6 Nations doubt with knee injury
Shanklin worry for Wales boss Gatland

Wales centre Tom Shanklin has become the latest RBS 6 Nations injury concern for boss Warren Gatland after limping off in the Blues' clash with Ospreys on Friday.
The Cardiff outfit were on the wrong end of a 26-0 drubbing at the Liberty Stadium but of more concern to Gatland was the sight of Shanklin limping off in the 30th minute.

Lions centre Shanklin was downed by a knee injury but Blues coach Dai Young admitted it was not yet known how serious the damage was.

"He has suffered a bang on his knee but we don't know how serious it is at this stage," said Young.

Wales had already had some festive bad news when fly-half Stephen Jones was forced off with a shoulder injury in Scarlets’ 14-9 win at Rodney Parade on Thursday.

And with scrum-half Mike Phillips, hooker Matthew Rees and prop Duncan Jones already doubts Gatland will be keeping his fingers crossed for some rapid recoveries ahead of their opening RBS 6 Nations clash with England on February 6.
