Edinburgh and Scotland lock Jim Hamilton insists he will take things one step at a time after making his long-awaited comeback from injury last weekend.
The 27-year-old featured for Edinburgh in their 22-15 defeat against Glasgow in the Magners League on Saturday, having been sidelined for the previous four months with patella tendonitis.
But despite returning to the Edinburgh fold the former Leicester Tiger, who featured for Scotland at the 2007 World Cup, admits international honours, and a call up to Andy Robinson's RBS 6 Nations squad, are not in his thoughts just yet.
“My only aim is to play as well as I can for Edinburgh,” said Hamilton, who has represented Scotland 23 times.
“My focus was on the Glasgow game and now it has switched to winning the next match. If I can do that, maybe other things will follow. That is out of my control.”
