Ireland Grand Slam winner Paddy Wallace will captain Ulster in Friday's Magners League derby away to Connacht.
Wallace’s return at centre, in place of Ian Whitten, is the only change in the backs to coach Brian McLaughlin’s side.
McLaughlin has made three changes to the pack which started last weekend's loss to Edinburgh at Ravenhill.
Grand Slam winner Tom Court replaces Bryan Young as loosehead prop, Dan Tuohy returns from injury in the second row pushing Neil McComb down the bench, while Robbie Diack is back in the number eight jersey with Chris Henry - Ulster's stand-in captain in recent weeks - starting on the bench.
