Wales lock Ian Evans could return from 10 months on the sidelines in the Ospreys' Magners League trip to Glasgow on Friday.
Evans, 24, had established himself as first-choice lock for Wales when he was struck by a knee injury when playing against New Zealand last November.
The 16-cap Aberdare man has not played since, but could lift the Ospreys after two miserable home defeats.
Alun Wyn Jones and Shane Williams could get first starts since the Lions tour, while Ryan Jones' rib will be assessed.
Wyn Jones and Williams made appearances from the bench in the defeat to Leinster, skipper Jones ruled out of that match by his rib injury.
Adam Jones is the only member of the Ospreys' Lions contingent yet to return to action, the prop's shoulder injury expected to keep him sidelined until the new year.
"We're not there yet, but hopefully we'll be there sometime - and sometime soon," said Ospreys director of coaching Scott Johnson after the Leinster defeat.
"We haven't got a lot of time to get it right. We are getting closer and we're getting all the boys back that we want."
