Ireland flanker Stephen Ferris is set to return to action for Ulster in Friday's Magners League game against table-toppers Edinburgh at Ravenhill.
Ferris, who had to fly home from the Lions tour of South Africa with a knee injury, has been given the green light by the Irish Rugby Football Union.
"Stephen has recovered well, is 100 per cent fit and we have permission to use him," confirmed coach Brian McLaughlin.
Fellow Ireland internationals Paddy Wallace, Andrew Trimble and Tom Court are all back in the squad for the game, having missed the victory at the Liberty Stadium because of Ireland commitments.
