A host of new signings will get their first chance to impress boss Paul Turner when Newport Gwent Dragons face Worcester Warriors on Friday in a pre-season friendly.
The Dragons have named six of their new stars as they kick start their pre-season preparation before tackling Ulster in the opening home match of the Magners League.
Turner has named a strong pack that includes six internationals in an effort to dominate Worcester upfront as they hope to gel before the season starts, with Gavin Thomas among the new faces.
Dragons have spent time bonding as a team over the past month and Tom Willis will lead his men at Rodney Parade hoping it culminates in a positive performance. Head Coach, Turner realises the side maybe undercooked, but still targets a good result.
“I don’t enter any game without pushing for a win, crucially I am looking for a positive performance and hope we can impress the fans,” said Turner.
