Edinburgh winger Mark Robinson is looking to get off to a lightening start this season after working on his speed during the summer.
The Scotland A international made a big impact last season, scoring four tries in 13 games.
And he feels he can hit the ground running this season for Rob Moffat’s men after groin surgery in January disrupted his campaign.
“I'm feeling pretty sharp at the minute,” the 24-year-old said. “Last season I didn't really have a proper pre-season because of my groin injury but this season has been great so far.
“I've been doing a lot of speed work, concentrating on technique with Malcolm Fairweather at the Scottish Institute of Sport, and it's making a big difference."
