Gloucester have appointed Cinderford head coach Mark Cornwell as their assistant forwards coach.
Cornwell was combining his job at Cinderford along side his role as the Premiership side's academy boss, but he will take his new position in a full-time capacity.
“I'm glad that the club have looked at what I've been doing over the last two or three years this is the next step,” Cornwell told BBC Gloucestershire.
"I enjoyed a lot of success with Cinderford and hope they continue where they stopped at the end of the season."
“Over the last two or three years I've developed, gone forward and brought some ideas in of my own," he said.
“I want to succeed and I want to be the best I can, obviously this is a great opportunity to be involved in a Premiership side, my home side, and I'm very excited about the position.
"This next season is going to be a very difficult challenge, not just for me but for everybody."
