Wembley date for Sarries and Saints

Saracens will play their Guinness Premiership clash against Northampton on September 12 at Wembley.

The sides last met at Franklin's Gardens in the European Challenge Cup semi-final in May, a competition the Saints went on to win.

It will be only the second time a rugby union match has been staged at the new Wembley, the Barbarians and Australia having met at the venue in December last year.

Saracens chairman Nigel Wray said: "I've been fortunate enough to go to the new Wembley on a number of occasions, and it really is a fantastic experience."
