Spice out of semi-final

By David Clark
Cardiff Blues make one enforced change for their Heineken Cup semi-final against Leicester at the Millenium Stadium on Sunday.
Richie Rees takes over from injured scrum-half Jason Spice in the only change from the quarter-final win over Toulouse.

The Welsh challengers parade all six of their South Africa-bound Lions, although one of them - Wales number eight Andy Powell - is among the replacements.

Leicester’s quarter-final hero Julien Dupuy has edged out Lions scrum-half Harry Ellis for the Millennium Stadium showdown against Cardiff.

Frenchman Dupuy’s injury-time try booked a semi-final appointment with the Blues as Leicester beat Bath 20-15 three weeks ago.

And he is now preferred to Ellis, who is joined on the bench by fellow England internationals Julian White and Lewis Moody, plus fit-again former New Zealand centre Aaron Mauger.
