With Lions head coach Ian McGeechan announcing his touring party for South Africa on April 21, there are two weeks left for British players to stake a claim for selection.

There will be no better stage to do that than in a high-intensity Heineken Cup knockout tie, and Jauzion admits his team could not be meeting the Blues at the worse time.

"They are playing for selection for the Lions so they will sell their bodies for a lot more than they did when we played them last season," said the France centre, a member of the Toulouse team that thrashed the Welsh side 41-17 at the same stage 12 months ago.

"It will be a big test for us and will allow us to measure the strength of our squad as we approach the end of the season and some crunch games.

"It's going to be very difficult because this team has the capacity to play with the ball in hand and to defend very well with a big defensive line. They are top seeds from qualifying because they deserve it."
