Scotland stars such as Thom Evans and John Barclay will be calling Firhill their home for the next five years after Glasgow signed a new deal with Partick Thistle.
The Warriors enjoyed a brief spell at Firhill in 2005 before basing themselves permanently at the home of Partick Thistle FC in 2007.
Glasgow broke their attendance record in the David Lloyd 1872 Cup match when 6,665 fans watched the victory over Edinburgh.
And the firm surface has proved conducive to Glasgow's running game, with Scotland backs Graeme Morrison, the Evans brothers and Dan Parks enjoying the benefits of the well-maintained pitch.
Glasgow coach Sean Lineen said: “Firhill is a great stadium and is ideal for this club as we continue to improve on the field and grow off it.
“The players enjoy playing on what is a great surface and the noise the fans generate from the Jackie Husband stand is fantastic.”
