Corry, capped 64 times for England, skippered his country on 17 occasions and also playing for the British & Irish Lions on their tours to Australia in 2001 and New Zealand in 2005.

The Leicester back row is joined in the Baa-Baas squad by four other experienced internationals for the match on May 30 - Jerry Collins (Toulon and New Zealand), Rocky Elsom (Leinster and Australia), Serge Betsen (London Wasps and France) and Justin Marshall (Saracens and New Zealand).

England manager Martin Johnson said: “It's a game that the whole England squad will look forward to, and we will be aiming to add to the three home wins we enjoyed at Twickenham in the RBS 6 Nations before our two games against Argentina.

“With the obvious exception of England players who will be unavailable because of their selection for the Lions, we will aim to have a strong England team playing against the Barbarians.”

Corry added: “I've played for England against the Baa-Baas, so I know what a great occasion these games at Twickenham can be.

“I feel privileged to be involved and delighted at the prospect of pulling on that black-and-white jersey again and running out at a ground that means so much to me.”
