Details of media activity involving Scotland under-20 and Scotland Women will be confirmed by Michael James next week, alongside any preview material for the Bell Lawrie Scottish Schools Cup Final.
Please note all media activity concerning the Scotland team is subject to change by the national coach in light of match preparations.
Monday 16 March – Precise time and location TBC but likely to be late morning at Murrayfield Stadium – A member of the Scotland coaching team will be available for a media conference. Graham Law is your contact here.
Monday 16 March – Lasswade RFC, Hawthornden, Polton, Bonnyrigg, EH19 3PR, 11:30am - The Scotland 7s squad to compete at the IRB Sevens World Series events in Hong Kong (27-29 March) and Adelaide (3-5 April) will be announced today by email. Coach Stephen Gemmell and members of the squad will be available to the media following vision access to training which commences at 11:30am. Stuart Martin is your contact here.
Monday 16 March – Watsonian FC, Myreside, Myreside Road, Edinburgh 1.20pm – Photographers and camera crews have 30 minutes vision only access to the Scotland squad training session.
Tuesday 17 March – The Scotland team (sponsor Murray) to be play England at Twickenham on Saturday 21 March will be announced today
Broadcast media – 10.50am – Drysdale Suite, Murrayfield Stadium – Scotland coach Frank Hadden will be available for interviews (please book in advance with Graham Law)
Photographers – 10.50-11.15am – Meet in foyer, 1925 Suites, Murrayfield Stadium – Selected Scotland players will be available for photographs
Written media – 11.20am – Rowan Suite (north stand), Murrayfield Stadium – Scotland coach Frank Hadden will hold a written media conference. At the conclusion of the written media conference, selected Scotland players will be available for interview (both broadcast and written). Media access will conclude at 12.20pm.
Tuesday 17 March – Queen Anne Room, Edinburgh Castle, Castlehill, Edinburgh EH1 2NG, 12:45pm – Engage Super League Magic Weekend (2-3 May) launch will be taking place at Edinburgh Castle with representatives from every Super League club attending. RFL CEO Nigel Wood and Scottish Rugby CEO Gordon McKie will also be in attendance. Photographers, broadcasters and written press are invited to attend the event. 1:40pm – Press conference starts/Photo-shoot with players set to take place. 2:30pm – interviews start. 3pm the media event concludes. In order to obtain complimentary transport from Murrayfield Stadium to Edinburgh Castle and back again please contact Andrew Sleight by 5pm on Monday 16 March (please note spaces on the mini-bus will be limited).
Wednesday 18 March – Rowan Suite (north stand), Murrayfield Stadium, 1.45pm – Scotland captain’s media conference; the captain (plus two players) will be available for media interviews. Access will conclude at 2.30pm.

Under-15 final: Edinburgh Academicals v George Watson’s College (kick-off 6pm)
Under-18 final: Stewart’s Melville College v Fettes College (kick-off 7.30pm)
Thursday 19 March – A member of the Scotland coaching team will be available for phone media interviews through Graham Law
Friday 20 March – A member of the coaching staff will be available in London (time and venue TBC) for a media huddle.
Friday 20 March – Precise time and Glasgow location to be confirmed - Scotland 7s captain (tbc on Monday) and coach, Stephen Gemmell, will parade Rugby World Cup Sevens silverware, the Plate, at the home of the 2014 Commonwealth Games, Glasgow, where rugby sevens is a core sport. Friday 20 March – England under-20 v Scotland under-20, Sixways Stadium, Worcester RFC, kick-off 8pm
Saturday 21 March – England Women v Scotland Women, Old Deer Park, London Welsh RFC, kick-off 1.30pm
Saturday 21 March – England v Scotland, RBS 6 Nations Championship, Twickenham, kick-off 3.30pm
Sunday 22 March – England under-18 v Scotland under-18, Kingston Park, Newcastle (kick-off 2pm)
