Ireland full-back Rob Kearney has been passed fit to face France in tomorrow's RBS 6 Nations opener at Croke Park.
The Leinster utility back had been a doubt due to an ankle injury suffered earlier this week.
However, he was able to train with the rest of the squad today and will take his place in the side for head coach Declan Kidney’s Six Nations debut in Dublin.
Ireland have not beaten France in the Six Nations in five attempts. The last time they managed to overcome this weekend’s opponents was in 2003 when they won 15-12 at Lansdowne Road.
