Graeme Morrison is hoping his performance for Glasgow in the historic victory over Toulouse can help secure a place in the Scotland team for the RBS 6 Nations opener against Wales.
The powerful centre crossed for a try and was a constant menace in midfield alongside Max Evans to seal his week place in the Scotland squad for the match with the reigning champions.

It was a welcome return to top form and full fitness for Morrison, who was ruled out of Scotland’s Autumn internationals due to knee ligament damage suffered during Glasgow’s 15-12 win over Leinster.

After impressing in last year's RBS 6 Nations and the summer tour to Argentina it was a blow to the amiable back to miss the November Tests.

Morrison is now back to his best though, and said: “My target was always to get back for the RBS 6 Nations. Now I just need to prove my worth to the selectors.

“Initially, the hardest thing for me was to slot back into the Glasgow team. In the few months I was out we started to play some exciting and adventurous rugby so it was just a case of taking my chances when they came.

“Such a significant win at the weekend does everyone in the Glasgow squad a favour in terms of national selection."
