Leinster take the spoils

Ulster's four-match winning run in all competitions came to an end at the hands of a determined and workmanlike Leinster side at Ravenhill in a 21-13 reverse.

The result sees Leinster sit third in the Magners League table ahead of Friday's clash with Connacht in Dublin.

After trailing 7-3 at the break, tries from man of the match Rocky Elsom and a late effort from Simon Keogh, allied to three penalties and a conversion from Felipe Contepomi, helped Leinster keep in touch of a game which could have gone either way until the last 10 minutes.

In the end, Leinster's greater composure and control proved decisive.
