Morrison set to face Edinburgh
24 December 2008, 10:17 am
By Catherine Goble
Scotland star Graeme Morrison has recovered from injury in time to take his place in the Glasgow line-up for the eagerly-awaited derby with Edinburgh on Boxing Day.
Morrison has shaken off the knee injury that ruled him out of the Autumn Tests to take his place alongside new Scotland cap Max Evans in the centre.

The return to fitness of Morrison – impressive during the 2008 RBS 6 Nations – means another Scotland centre, Andy Henderson, drops to the bench.

Lome Fa’atau misses out due to a fractured shinbone so Hefin O’Hare moves to the right wing with Scotland winger Thom Evans on the left.

In the front row, Scotland hooker Dougie Hall is recalled in place of another Test player, Fergus Thomson, despite being concussed against Bath while prop Ed Kalman edges out Moray Low.

Finally, captain Alastair Kellock, in the Scotland squad for the Autumn Tests, returns to replace of Dan Turner, who has to settle for a place on the bench.
