Former All Black flanker Marty Holah has signed a new one-year deal with the Ospreys, keeping him at the Liberty stadium until 2010.
Holah, 32, arrived at the Welsh side in November 2007 on a one-year deal, with an option to extend for a further twelve months.
He has made 29 appearances for Ospreys, scoring one try against Connacht.
Holah was man-of-the-match in the Ospreys’ EDF Energy Cup Final win over Leicester Tigers at Twickenham in April.
Capped 36 times by New Zealand, his last senior international appearance came against South Africa in September 2006, although he captained the Junior All Blacks (New Zealand A) to success in the 2007 Pacific Nations Cup.
“It was the ambition and desire to be the best that attracted me to the region as I wanted to be involved with a team that competed at the highest level.
“In my first 12 months as an Osprey, we've made the knockout stages of the Heineken Cup and won the EDF Energy Cup, and this time around, we're well in contention in all three competitions.
“I'm really enjoying being a part of it, so the decision to agree to the extra year was an easy one.”
