And fly-half Stephen Jones claims it will be an emotional occasion to run out onto the famous turf for the final time - especially as the ground has been home to the main Llanelli rugby club since 1879.

"It's going to be a huge game, the last one against Bristol," the Wales international said.

"It's an important match but equally a very special occasion and will be a fantastic evening for everyone to be involved in.

"It is a massive motivation for us as a team of players - our record against Bristol hasn't been that great - so we are very focused on getting the right result."

Jones claims the famous Stradey Park roar is among one of the finest sounds in rugby, describing the venue as holding "a special place" in the minds of all Welsh fans.

He continued: "The ground is not like any other as far as I'm concerned. It has such a spirit when it's packed with supporters singing at the tops of their voices.

"With the crowd in great voice and us playing our best rugby - those games at home are the ones when I'm absolutely in my element and it does inspire you."
