Scotland stand-off Phil Godman expressed his joy at reaching a century of appearances for Edinburgh in their victory over Castres in the European Cup.
Mark Robertson scored a terrific try as Edinburgh won a enthralling match 13-6 at Castres to revive their hopes of making it out of the group stage.
Scotland captain Mike Blair set up Robertson's score when he took a quick tap penalty and set his winger free and the Edinburgh flier did not disappoint, shrugging off a tackle before touching down underneath the posts.
Paterson added the extras to put Edinburgh in control and the visitors thought they had increased their advantage when Godman and Jim Hamilton combined superbly - only to see the try chalked off for an infringement.
Two Paterson penalties after half-time extended Edinburgh’s lead and they held on for the win.
Godman said: "It is a great honour and to get a victory in France made it even more special.
"I wasn't really sure I was that near to reaching 100 appearances until I saw the stats at the start of the season."
