Bradley, who was acting Ireland head coach this summer, said that Connacht's Pool One victory in France has given them a good platform to build on in their efforts to reach the knock-out stages of the European Challenge Cup.

But he added that London Irish would present a much tougher challenge at the Sportsground.

"The fact that the game against Leinster took place on Sunday night gave us little time to turn around so that presented a logistics challenge in itself," he said.

"There was little time to prepare as we had to leave for France on Wednesday morning.

"We were slow to start on Friday night but that was a much better performance in the second half.

"I suppose, in the circumstances, it was understandable that it would take us time to get into the flow, but once we built the phases there was a good cutting edge and the chances started to appear and were taken."
