Mustchin calls for bright start
10 September 2008, 2:23 pm
By Justin Goulding
Scotland lock Matt Mustchin believes Edinburgh need to make a better start to the game against Leinster if they are to record their first Celtic League win of the season.
Edinburgh were sluggish in the early stages of the match at Murrayfield and could not claw their way back, eventually losing 15-20 to the European champions.

In the second match of the Irish league double, Andy Robinson's men travel to Dublin to face Leinster and Scotland forward Mustchin, who played blindside flanker against Munster, hopes his team make a brighter start.

He said: “We didn’t start particularly well against Munster. In fact, we haven’t started well in the three games we’ve played, which is something we have been addressing this week.

“Munster got momentum early on which we couldn’t really counter very well. I thought we played a lot better in the second half, but by then the damage was already done.

“We all know we didn’t play very well, but to come away with a bonus point against Munster was a consolation.”
