Llanelli Scarlets have handed debuts to five new signings for their Celtic League opener at Ulster.
Rob Higgitt, Sililo Martens, Kees Meeuws, Simon Maling and David Lyons will all start new coach Nigel Davies' first match in charge in Belfast.
Wales internationals Morgan Stoddart, Mark Jones, Stephen Jones and Matthew Rees also feature in a strong line-up for Friday's clash at Ravenhill.
And Scarlets captain Simon Easterby reckons the players are in the right frame of mind to get their campaign off to a flyer.
Flanker Easterby said: "Nigel is single minded and the players have responded in pre-season training.
"He has built a coaching team around him, with Paul Moriarty joined by John Muggleton.
"Brad Harrington and Ryan Campbell have come in on the conditioning side to complement what Nigel wants to do."
