Glasgow Warriors suffered a heavy defeat to Gloucester in their final pre-season game before the Celtic League season begins.
Lome Fa'atau crossed for the Warriors' only try while Scotland stand-off Dan Parks added a penalty as Sean Lineen's men were thumped 30-8 – despite being 8-3 ahead at the break.
Glasgow start their league campaign at Rodney Parade against the Newport Gwent Dragons on Friday night.
They had performed impressively in their previous pre-season games, narrowly losing to Bristol having shone in France in the XV Challenge Vaquerin where they beat Beziers and Castres.
Meanwhile Edinburgh maintained their fine pre-season form when they stunned Bath at The Rec, Scotland winger Simon Webster grabbing one of the tries.
The game was also notable for the return to action of captain Mike Blair and vice-captain Allister Hogg after the Scotland duo missed the previous weekend's win over Wasps.
Andrew Turnbull added another try while Scotland star Chris Paterson showed customary class with the kicking duties.
