Phil Pask - a key member of England's support staff for three World Cup campaigns - has landed a Twickenham return.
The experienced physiotherapist rejoins England’s staff under manager Martin Johnson with immediate effect.
Pask replaces Barney Kenny, who takes up a new role as head of physiotherapy for the Rugby Football Union’s elite rugby department, headed by Rob Andrew.
Pask was part of England’s back-room team in more than 100 Test matches, notably the successful 2003 World Cup expedition to Australia.
He said: “I’ve worked with Martin on nearly all of his games as a player and as England captain, and the opportunity to do so again now that he is the England team manager was one I couldn’t turn down.”
