Leinster have appointed former Leinster and Ireland coach Gerry Murphy as provincial domestic team as part of a shake-up of the various Under-18, Under-19 and Under-20 age grade representative sides for the coming season.
Murphy will oversee the implementation of Leinster’s underage representative strategy.
The Leinster Under-20 side will kick off their season with a friendly against Clontarf on Tuesday and will this year be coached by former Leinster outside-half Richie Murphy.
Murphy will be assisted by former Leinster and Ireland second-row Gabriel Fulcher – who coached Belvedere College SJ to last season’s Leinster Schools Senior Cup title – while Tony O’Byrne has been named as Manager.
The Leinster Under-19 side will be coached by Noel Murray and will be assisted by former British and Irish Lions and Ireland full-back Rodney O’Donnell.
